Welcome to Scotchvilla

Every great
world begins
small.

It all began with me — Scotch, a dwarf Beagle with an old soul, a gentle waddle and a deep devotion to coconuts. Today, I am the little dog behind Scotchvilla, a world where being different is beautiful.

Meet Scotch

“Unhurried. Unbothered.
Unmistakably me.”

Most Beagles chase the world. I prefer to let it come to me. I take life at a waddle’s pace, choose cuddles over barking and approach every meal with absolute devotion. I may look like a soft toy, but behave like an old soul. And somehow, that’s what makes me, well, me.

Every picture of mine tells a small story. An ear flopped over a cushion. A hopeful nose pointed towards the kitchen. A little waddle on a very important mission. (The mission being food). I never planned to be famous. I simply lay down, tilted my head and let the world fall in love. My family has been chasing me with a camera ever since. Not that I am hard to catch. You are welcome. ;)

Happy Birthday to Us!

Some birthdays come with cake. My dad, Akash’s, came with me. I was born on 27th June 2021, the very same day Dad celebrates his birthday. I like to think I was his birthday present, even if I arrived in his arms a little late.

That August, my doting aunt Athira and her husband, my beloved Uncle Sagar, brought me home to fill a quiet space in Dad’s life. One look at me, and he never quite recovered.

The People Have Spoken

My Instagram started with a few photos for friends. Then came the head tilt, and suddenly, I had fans from Brazil to Thailand. In 2023, I was voted the official mascot of Pet Fed Bengaluru, joining my hoomans on stage to present awards. Gracious in victory. Never ate a single trophy.

We’re a Brand Now!

Somewhere between the naps and the snacks, my hoomans led by my granny realised this was never just about me. It was about everyone who looks, walks or lives a little differently. So in January 2026, Scotchvilla launched at Pet Fair Bengaluru as a character-led brand built on kindness and joy. I am still the main character, obviously. ;)

“Scotchvilla is a little corner of the world
where different is beautiful,
kindness is cool and joy is never far off”
The Heart of Scotchvilla

Life, according to
One small Beagle.

You know what, hoomans? Sometimes, you can be someone else’s Scotch, too. Everything we make, share and dream up at Scotchvilla comes back to four little beliefs I have instilled in my hoomans, simply by being myself.

A little Beagle surrounded by yellow hearts

Compassion

I have shown my hoomans that love means showing up, especially on hard days. Sometimes, a little extra care and a cuddle can mean the world.

A smiling Beagle surrounded by pink sparkles

Kindness

I have taught my hoomans that kindness is cool. It can be joyful, confident and a little cheeky. You don’t have to be big or loud to make a difference.

Empathy & Inclusivity

I may see the world a little differently, but that’s what makes me, me. I have helped my hoomans make room for those who look, live or experience life a little differently.

Joy

Sometimes, all it takes is a head tilt to make someone smile. I have been spreading little moments of joy, and we as a family hope to spread many more.

Dwarfism Made Me a
Little Different, but
It Never Made Me Less!

I was around seven months old when DNA tests and X-rays finally gave us an answer. It explained my small size and my little waddle. It changed nothing about how much I’m loved.

What it is

Veterinary experts explain that dwarfism in dogs is more than just a cute, little appearance. It affects skeletal growth and can come with other health complications, too.

How my hoomans found out

Dad’s colleague first noticed I wasn’t growing. After diet changes and visits to several vets, a senior vet in Bengaluru finally recommended the tests that confirmed it.

How I am cared for

My hoomans keep a close eye on my diet, activity and health, with regular vet check-ups and extra care to manage my hypothyroidism.

What it taught my hoomans

Smaller stature, different walk, same right to a full and happy life. When I was diagnosed, the vet said “I would be a blessing.” Dad says he was right.

Meet My Family

The hearts that hold me close,
every single day.

Every tiny paw needs someone to hold it. I am lucky enough to have a whole family: the ones who feed me first, cuddle me longest, build my world with love and make every ordinary day feel like home.

What My Online Fam Says

Letters From My Online Fam!
Proof That Joy Travels Further Than You Think.

A head tilt at home, a smile halfway across the world. They write from across oceans and just down the road. Some found me on a hard day; others simply needed a lift. Amid all the noise online, my little corner has stayed gentle, and I have kept every word.
